Our credentials
National Association of Consumer Advocates
National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) is a nonprofit association of more than 1,500 attorneys and consumer advocates committed to representing consumers’ interests. NACA’s mission is to promote justice for all consumers by maintaining a forum for communication, networking, and information-sharing among consumer advocates across the country, particularly regarding legal issues, and by serving as a voice for consumers in the ongoing struggle to curb unfair or abusive business practices that harm consumers.
California State Bar
Created by the state legislature in 1927, the State Bar is a public corporation within the judicial branch of government, serving as an arm of the California Supreme Court. All State Bar members are officers of the court. Membership in The State Bar of California affords attorneys the right and privilege of practicing law in this state. The bar’s integrated network of functions and services — many of them mandated by law — protects the public and assists attorneys in meeting their professional obligations.
Consumer Attorneys of California
CAOC members take only those cases they view as worthy, invest their own resources in pushing those cases to court and are paid under the contingency fee system only if their clients achieve a successful result. What occurs in California’s courts can be colored by laws and regulations that are debated in the state Capitol. CAOC maintains a vigilant presence in Sacramento with a team of legislative advocates who continually fight to ensure that our courts remain accessible to all and to level the playing field for underdog consumers facing wealthy and powerful foes.
Bar Association of San Francisco
The Bar Association of San Francisco champions equal access to justice and promotes humanity, excellence, and diversity in the legal profession. They provide legal services to disadvantaged and underserved individuals in San Francisco. They create opportunities for legal service in the community and encourage participation by our members. They advance professional growth and education, and elevate the standards of integrity, honor, and respect in the practice of law. They cultivate diversity and equality in the legal profession, provide a collective voice for public advocacy, and pioneer constructive change in society.
