Chad J. BrandelChad is an Associate with Law & Stein, LLP. His practice focuses on premises liability litigation and the representation of companies in commercial litigation matters. Chad is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Prior to joining Law & Stein, LLP, Chad focused on commercial and residential real estate matters, business entity disputes, asset backed private offerings, labor and employment matters, contracts, corporate counsel matters and collections. He has also handled litigation matters involving insurance defense, personal injury, class actions, labor and employment, mass tort, and bankruptcy matters.

Although less than a decade into his career, Chad has had the privilege of gaining a substantial amount of trial experience in addition to general litigation experience. At his previous firm, he was second chair to the founding partner on a number of defense trials. In the spring of 2011, Mr. Brandel attended and completed the Orange County Bar Association’s 29th College of Trial Advocacy, an immersive course focusing solely on the nuances of trial. Since then, Chad has had the opportunity to try both jury and bench trials.

Chad received his Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA. He was also selected as a Southern California Rising Star in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
