Megan A. Moghtaderi, Esq.
Megan A. Moghtaderi knows personally just how stressful estate litigation can be. When she was a child, her own family faced a combative will contest and the resentment continues to this day. This experience sparked Megan’s interest in helping others avoid similar discord, and for this reason, she chose to focus her legal work on developing estate plans and advising and representing families faced with trust litigation.
Before joining Law & Stein, LLP, Megan served as a probate extern to the Honorable Kim R. Hubbard at the Orange County Superior Court. During her time as an extern, Megan assisted the court’s general counsel and recommended changes to probate and trust litigation procedures many of which were adopted. Additionally, Megan provided the court with recommendations for how individuals can protect their private email and social media accounts upon their passing.
Megan also makes time to give back to her community. She received the Commitment to Service Award, and while in law school, was instrumental in collaborating with the Court and non-profit agencies for the first permanent program in probate statewide to mediate probate matters. Currently, Megan serves on the Steering Committee of the Orange County Food From the Bar with Second Harvest where she encourages fellow members of the legal profession to contribute their time to aid the hungry in Orange County.
