Saffron Communications has designed and developed an integrated circuit with full duplex functionality with the potential to significantly improve the entire fields of voice and data transmission. It provides the capability to simultaneously send and receive transmission on a single frequency and a single antenna, which has numerous applications in both military and commercial industries.

Decreasing the need for radio spectrum by 50 percent and reducing the size of mobile devices, while improving the quality and speed at which data traffic travels, will vastly improve existing technology in the following areas:

  • WiFi: A network that allows computers and other electronic devices the ability to communicate with each other wirelessly.
  • Radar: A system that uses radio waves to detect and provide specific information about objects within a corresponding area.
  • Mobile devices: A mobile device, such as a cell phone, laptop or tablet computer, used by an individual to communicate with other devices, via voice or data, through a wireless network.
  • Internet of Things: Technology that enables the interconnectivity of physical devices such as home automation, smart cars, or intelligent buildings.
  • Industrial Internet of Things: Using internet of things technology in the manufacturing sphere.
