Dalton Australia adds\nto the resources of Dalton\u2019s two other research offices located in Tokyo and\nMumbai. &nbsp;The office will specialize in environmental, social and\ngovernance (\u201cESG\u201d) research and will be headed by Craig Mercer who had\nworked as a dedicated consultant to the firm over the past 12 months prior to\nbeing hired as Managing Director of Dalton Australia.&nbsp; \u201cThe new office in\nSydney brings Craig, an ESG specialist, in-house to serve as Chief Research\nOfficer and will give Dalton an on-the-ground presence, strengthening our\nresearch efforts as well as supporting Dalton\u2019s clientele in the region.\u201d says\nBelita Ong, CEO of Dalton. \u201cWe are excited to be establishing an office in\nSydney, enabling us to build upon our research footprint in the region while\nexpanding our ESG capabilities and wider presence in the market,\u201d says Craig\nMercer, Managing Director of the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Dalton Investments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalton Investments LLC is a value-focused investment management firm with expertise in Asia, Emerging Markets and global equities.
