The Firm\ncurrently has existing offices in both Santa Monica and Tokyo. The new office\nin Mumbai will give Dalton a much needed on-the-ground presence, supporting\nDalton\u2019s growing focus and expanding investment research in the region. \u201cWe are\nvery bullish on the long-term growth potential of India and strongly believe it\nto be one of the most attractive investment destinations in the world,\u201d says\nVenkat Pasupuleti, Co-Portfolio Manager for the Dalton India Fund. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the new office, Dalton has brought on a new India-focused Senior Equity Research Analyst, <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.darsky.com\/dalton\/our-people\/investment-teams\/asia-equities\/siva-thiravidamony\/\">Mr. Siva Thiravidamony<\/a>, who will lead the India local research operation in Mumbai. Mr. Thiravidamony is a seasoned investment professional with nine years of experience in the Indian equity markets. Prior to joining Dalton, he worked at ICICI Lombard General Insurance company as Associate Vice President of Equity Investments from 2009 until June 2018. Mr. Thiravidamony holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
