SAN DIEGO, CA — Blankinship & Foster is pleased to announce that it has been named to the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisors list, as of June 22nd, 2017. The list recognizes top independent RIA firms from across the U.S.
The Financial Times evaluates candidates based on attributes such as assets under management, growth, years the firm has been in existence, industry certifications of staff, SEC compliance record, and online accessibility. Applications were solicited from more than 2,000 independent RIA firms that had $300 million or more in assets.

About the “Top 300 RIAs” ranking: Financial Times RIA survey is a ranking based on assets under management at year end of independent RIA firms that file their own ADV with the SEC. FT’s RIA ranking orders firms from largest to smallest, based on AUM reported on the advisors and verified by review of advisor’s ADV forms. To be eligible for the ranking, firms must be independent registered investment advisors and file their own ADV statement with the SEC and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. Firms must have at least $500 million in assets under management as of December 31, 2022, to be included in the print edition of Financial Advisor magazine’s 2023 RIA survey. The stars in the recognition emblem do not represent any type of ranking or rating so it should not be assumed Blankinship & Foster received any star rating.
